Financial Affairs Department is affiliated to Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs. The department develops the planning budget of the University , holds an annual exchange process and collects the fiscal revenue according to the approved laws and financial regulations and instructions, as well as preparing the final account of the university at the end of Each fiscal year.

Moreover, the Department provides necessary data and financial information for the higher administration, in addition to disseminating financial awareness of the university by issuing circulations that specify the financial rules. The department also aims to involve various work centers in preparing and monitoring the implementation of its budget in order to raise their financial performance level.
